CARAMEL POPCORN //
6 quarts popped popcorn
- set aside
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tsp salt
- add to a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, and remove from heat.
1 TBSP vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
- stir into caramel mixture. Pour over popcorn and mix until popcorn is evenly coated.
- spread onto cookie sheets and bake at 250 F for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

ANIMAL COOKIES //
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup crisco
- beat together
1 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
- mix into dough
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup hot tap water
- dissolve baking soda into water and add to dough.
About 5 cups flour
- slowly add flour until a soft dough forms. Chill thoroughly.
- roll and cut dough into shapes. Bake at 350 F for 7-9 minutes, until bottoms are golden.

CINNAMON TWISTS //
5 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
- whisk together
2 cups margarine
- cut into flour
2 eggs
1 cup milk
- mix in to form a dough. Divide dough into 10-12 balls.
3 cups sugar
3 TBSP cinnamon
- mix together
- roll balls of dough in cinnamon sugar. Slice into 8 pieces (like a pie). - roll pieces from wide end to narrow end.
- bake at 375 F for 8-10 minutes, until bottoms are golden.
